HOPE

We believe in helping people live out their destiny in God. HOPE does this through offering support and guidance to families as well as the addict affected by drug abuse. Our advice to parents is to get help for their child’s drug problem before it is too late. The earlier the problem is dealt with, the greater the chance of success.

What we do

Our ministry is aimed at families affected by substance abuse. Abusing drugs and alcohol can often destroy families, values and lives. Addiction affects the lives of parents and partners just as painfully as it affects the addict themselves.

HOPE runs a support group meeting every Monday night at 7.30pm where parents become equipped to know what to look out for and how to set up boundaries. It is also an opportunity to realise that they are not alone in dealing with their problems, and to build up support systems.

HOPE also offers support to the substance abuser. They are catered for at the Monday night meeting as well. If the need arises, we are equipped to assist in placing them in a rehabilitation centre.
