Beyond Emptiness - He Resurrects Me!

The Resurrected King is resurrecting me

Do you know that many people stop at Jesus died? They close the book and they appreciate

that he was a good man, he was a miracle worker and had wise and life changing teaching and then he died... yet they somehow have not heard that Jesus rose from the dead, that the power of God shook the earth, the stone was rolled away and death was overcome because Jesus came to pay the price for our sin through death but he then also came to give us the victory of the price he paid for us through resurrection, that is conquering death which is the wages of our sin. You see The empty tomb is also not where the story ends.

Jesus’ resurrection is the nerve wrecking, nail biting twist in the plot.

However the story continues. In you and me; the Resurrected King continues to resurrect our life stories.

You may have been (or are now) living a life of victimhood, people pleasing, addiction, marriage misery, fear, or any variety of brokenness. But Jesus specialises in resurrection. When He brings transformation it brings the dead things in us to life.

When we say yes to Jesus, we simultaneously say yes to Him bringing the dead areas of our hearts to life (John 5:21).

*When we say yes to Jesus*, “He will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair” (Isaiah 61:3).

*When we say yes to Jesus*, we say yes to eternal life: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16).

The grand finale will be when we “bow down and worship in front of the one who sits on the throne, the one who lives forever and ever” (Revelation 4:10).

*Make a move*

Have you said yes to the One whose gift of eternal life came wrapped in the resurrection story?

*If you have*, I’ll meet you in the throne room.

*If you haven’t*, please say yes to eternal life. The gift of salvation is yours for the taking....it’s the best decision you will ever make.

Here’s how to claim the gift:

1. Find a quiet place where you can reflect.

2. Pray these words: Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Amen.

Boom! Gift claimed! Congratulations if you have taken the steps above. If you would like someone to walk you through the decision you just made, please click the link to let us know you have made this wonderful decision https://viewchurchtv.churchcenter.com/people/forms/123548

*Reflect on your next move*

If you had already claimed the gift of salvation, are you utilizing the gift fully?

What in your heart or life seems dead?

Is there any way you need to turn that over to Jesus more?
