A Devotional series on the book of John
 John 10:7, 11, 14
Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. …
11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. … 14 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.Â

Day 10 – Jesus, our Great Shepherd
In these 3 verses, we learn:
·     That Jesus will protect us.
The Shepherd would lay across the entry to the sheep fold so that he would be the first to encounter any danger.Â
·     That Jesus gave his life for us so that we can spend our lives with him.Â
·     The importance of having a growing relationship with Jesus. Knowing that we are his, and growing in him are extremely important.Â
Â
What a privilege it is to have Jesus as our Shepherd, to know that we are his and that he is always looking out for us.Â
Â
Think On It:
1-1-1 We have been challenged to Pray for 1 person for 1 minute at 1pm everyday until Easter.
Who am I going to pray for at 1pm today that their hearts will be softened and that they encounter Jesus?Â
Just as I have Jesus as my good Shepherd, how can my testimony of Jesus help to invite others to also experience the greatness of this Shepherd?
