A devotional series on the book of John
John 9:6-7
After saying this, he spit on the ground, made some mud with the saliva, and put it on the man’s eyes. “Go,” he told him, “wash in the Pool of Siloam” (this word means “Sent”). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.
Day 9 – Jesus wants to use you
Every day is an opportunity for our life to be used by God to bring glory to his name. We have received the ultimate healing through the salvation that comes from Jesus!
We see that Jesus instructed the man to get up and go wash, and in doing that he came back healed. There is a lesson here. When we are obedient to God, we will see him move supernaturally. As we lead up to Easter, we will have many opportunities to be obedient to invite people to church, to shine our light and to be the salt to the earth. As we do this, we can trust that God will move in those people’s lives!
Think on it:
Is there any area in my life that I’m not being obedient in?
Is there anyone in my life who may be blind and needs Jesus to heal them?
What Invitation can I make today to lead people find Hope & Help in Jesus Christ?
