Day 2: First things First
When you are building a house there are a few things that you First have to do in order for you to be successful for example;
The builders First have to dig out a foundation and lay the foundation otherwise the house will not stand firmly and can crumble easily without a foundation
Before you even get builders you first need to have an Architect who will help you draw up the plans for the house that you want to build otherwise the builders wont know what kind of foundation you need and how to build the house, The builders only build according to the masterplan the Architect provides.
Before you actually build you First need to decide that you want to build and where you want to build and then find the land and purchase it - but even before purchasing the land you first need to have access to resources to purchase the land and to then engage the Architect, and the builders to build.
Just as you have a series of steps in building that involve a number of priorities in each step so are our lives a journey that involves many seasons and many firsts that we need to prioritise in order to journey through life successfully.
The word of God teaches us that God is the God of firsts, He is the ultimate First that we need before other things in order for our lives to unfold in a manner that will bring us to a desired place of success and victory.
ACTION:
As you fast and Pray today spend time Reflecting on the Scriptural references below on God and consider why you need to prioritise God and put Him first in your Life journey. Let this fasting period be an invitation for God to be the one who directs and leads you in building your life.
God is The Alpha - He is the Beginning of all things and creator and author of life

God is the beginning of creation
'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. '
God Loved us First
'We love because he first loved us. '
God is the master Architect and builder
'Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. '
Jesus is the Firm foundation
'For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. '
