John 7:37-38
On the last day, the climax of the festival, Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me! Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’”
Day 7 – A river within you
Jesus makes it clear what we need to be to come to him. We need to be thirsty. He’s really talking about our spiritual longing. Whoever longs for God can come to him.
The result of believing in Jesus is rivers of living water flowing from your heart. Your deep thirst will be satisfied by the Holy Spirit. And it will naturally overflow to others.
Even though life may not always be easy, we can know that rives of living water are flowing within us.

Do ‘rivers of living water’ characterise your life or are you dry and dusty? Are people being refreshed when they’re around you?
